I love this authors writing. This is an amazing story.
Jason had it all a football star a gorgeous girlfriend. Life was at his fingertips. Until one day the coach is found dead with Jason standing over his body.
He is threw into a prison cell and accused of murder. Everyone turns there back on him. All but the neighbor girl that is constantly planting flowers in her yard.
Katy isn't popular. She is invisible to everyone at school. Jason has never even spoke to her up until recently when he got a ride home from a party.
They run in completely different circles. Jason can't figure out why the girl he has never showed any attention to wants to be his friend and his only friend at that.
Katy thinks Jason is innocent and that there is more to the story then what he is telling anyone.
They become friends and the more time they spend together the more Jason sees how beautiful Katy really is inside and out.
This is a story of how one girl takes on everyone to defend someone who has no one. She will stop at nothing till she gets to the bottom of it all.
This book does involve a love story but it is not the main focus of the story. The drama takes a front row seat in this book.
This was a great book. I am not giving it a full five stars only because I wish there would have been a stronger love story in there.
