This book was a never ending cycle of drama and angst. With an ending that leaves you gasping for breath.
Delia Norman gets dumped by her boyfriend on Valentine's Day and kicked out of her house. She checks in to a hotel to be alone and cry.
There is a band staying next door in the penthouse. While throwing herself a pitty party and crying her eyes out. The hot lead singer Colter Slade just wants to get some sleep so he comes to her door to ask her to please shut up so they can sleep before the concert.
What he finds when he gets to her door is a hot mess of a woman who won't stop crying unless he stays with her till she falls asleep. They get to talking and he wants to bring her out of her shell a little so he invites her to his concert. She eagerly agrees.
Delia has no idea what she got herself into when she gets involved with the hot singer. There is angst, drama, drugs and betrayal.
How can a love survive when only one of them is giving it all they have?
This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions. I felt my heart shatter more than once. Just when I thought things were finally starting to look up. The author slaps us in the face with that ending.
I am going to sit here and anxiously wait. Please don't make us wait long K.E. Osborn.
