Raze by Tillie Cole 5 star review!

Fantastic is not a strong enough word to describe this book. This story is the reason words like fantastic and brilliant were created.

Tillie Cole takes the words dark and twisted to a entirely new level.

Raze/818 has no memory of his life before the gulag prison he has been captive of for years. The only thing he knows to do is kill or be killed. He has turned into a killing machine. He is Undefeated  and deadly. He wants revenge on the person who lied and put him in the hell he has been living and he will stop at nothing.

Kisa is trapped in a life she doesn't want but it's the only thing she knows. Her heart only knows death and loss. She dreams of breaking free of the hell she is in.
The only freedom she has is at church.

When Kisa is helping the church give out things to the homeless. She sees a beautiful tattooed and scared homeless man. She recognizes him as the guy who saved her. She feels connected to the strange man or it could be just her feelings for him saving her life getting in the way.

She is extremely suprised when he shows up as one of the fighters at her fathers fighting ring. She is attracted to him and is having a hard time fighting her desire. Raze is damaged if she wants to get to know him she will have to work for it. Which will be pretty close to impossible with her fiancé watching her every move.

When secrets that should have been buried long ago come to the surface. What will they do to keep there love safe once and for all.

This was a beautiful broken love story and at times heart breaking.

Love so strong it never dies.
