Another amazing book in the marked men series. I love all the characters in this series. This is one of my favorite of them all.
This is a part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Each book is about a different couple. I suggest you read them all because they are all fantastic reads.
What a beautiful second chance book.
Rowdy and Salem's story was amazing. Finding each other after being away for so long.
I felt so bad for Rowdy throughout most of the book. He felt like everyone he cared about would eventually leave him. Every person he loved always left him in some way.
Salem was so strong and caring. She just wanted to Rowdy to realize she was the one he should have been with all along. Rowdy avoids her at all costs at first but it's hard to ignore someone you have always had such a strong connection with.
There story isn't all sunshine and roses. There story is one of finding love again and learning to forgive. What an amazing journey.
Jay Crownover developed an amazing set of characters in this series. Can't wait to see what she has in store for us in the next book.
