In the first part of Step Brother Dearest Elec's mother sends him to live with his father, stepmother and stepsister. Greta and Elec's official meeting was EPIC.
Elec was always pushing Greta's buttons but she kept coming back for more. It was like watching a wreck in slow motion but there was absolutely nothing you could do about it.
Just when I thought things were going to start getting good for them it ends. My heart was broken.
Fast forward 7 years later. Tragedy strikes. Greta and Elec have to see each other again. But this time Elec doesn't come alone. I thought my heart was going to jump out of my cheats. I will not say more because that will ruin the book for you. But get the tissues ready ladies. The journey this couple endures is one beautiful hot mess.
This author has a fantastic writing style. She keeps you engaged in the story. I knew when I read the sypnosis I would fall In love with the characters of this book and I was not at all disappointed.
Penelope Ward is on my top favorite authors list and I can not wait to see what she has in store for us next.
